Fosshotel Skaftafell is a comfortable 3 star tourist class hotel and invites you to one of the most wonderful and panoramic locations in all Iceland.

The rooms at Fosshotel Skaftafell are located in four different buildings and are all located on the ground floor.

Fosshotel Skaftafell - our Glacier Hotel South - offers a restaurant that seats 90-100 people and is divided in two parts. One area is dedicated to groups while the other one offers more tranquility and privacy to the guests ordering „a la carte“. The hotel is very popular for lunch groups and during summer we offer a healthy salad, soup & buffet. The hotel has a fully licensed bar on the second floor with an outstanding view over the Vatnajokull glacier.

There is a fully equipped conference facilities at Fosshotel Skaftafell. The conference room can accommodate conventions and private parties for about 80-100 persons.

The lobby features a TV and sitting lounge, internet station and a small gift shop. Free parking available. All guestrooms and restaurant/bar facilities are non-smoking.

How to get there:

Coming from the East: Drive road # 1 towards the town of Hofn. After you have reached the town of Hofn continue towards the Skaftafell Nation Park, its about 130 km. The hotel is situated by road # 1, only 5 km before you reach the national park. Its located on the right side on the right side of the road
