Reykjavik Backpackers is a brand new hostel in the heart of Reykjavik City. It's run by travelers and adventurers with hopes of creating a great place for other travelers and adventurers to sleep and relax as they visit Iceland's capital city.

The hostel is located on Laugavegur, which is the main shopping street, and only a 15 minutes walking distance from the main bus station. The downtown area offers most of Reykjavik's finest museums, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs.

The hostel has a private backyard and balconies open for our guests, common rooms on each floor with cable TV and comfy sofas for relaxing.

Practical info:
We provide your guests with 24-hour check in and service and free WIFI internet access. The hostel doesn't lock up for those arriving late, but it is not allowed to disturb other guests between 10 pm and 8 am. All the beds have clean sheets. Pillow, duvets and other bed linen can be provided, but are not included in the price. Guests can also rent towels for their stay.

We have sixteen 4-8 person dorms and four private rooms for 2-3 persons on 3 floors. All in all Reykjavik Backpackers has 96 beds. All the rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Toilets and showers are located in the center of each floor allowing all rooms to access the facilities easily. We have common rooms on each floor and on the 4th floor there are kitchen facilities available for guests occupying the four privat rooms and two 4 person dorms located on the 4th floor.
