Ási was born in Iceland 1989. He is from our city Reykjavik and has traveled all over Iceland, knows it in and out. He has been rock climbing since the age of ten. Ice climbing for 3 years and is a damn good skier. Has been working as a mountain guide for many years and is a member of the search and rescue unit in Iceland. Ási takes the camcorder in all activity and loves video editing. He is a traveler and an adventure crazy person.

Begga is born in the wilderness in 1984. We call her the Icelandic Viking lady. Raised in a farm in the east-coast of Iceland and has been running in the mountain since then. Moved to the big city and went to school to learn how to be an Icelandic mountain guide, she is member of the search and rescue unit in Iceland and has the completed the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course. She has been a guide for several years and loves it.

Mr. Bjorn is an esteemed geologist and author of nearly 30 titles about the Icelandic nature. He has traveled to all corners of the island, both as a tourist, a tour guide and as an explorer. Bjorn’s studies on Icelandic geography for his books have led him to many of Iceland’s most isolated areas. Bjorn have been active caver for over 30 years and he have found many caves in Icelandic lava fields.

Guðrún is a lively and entertaining real Icelandic woman, she gets tired quickly if she is hanging on the couch for to long. She has traveled a lot in Iceland and has a joy of it. She is an Icelandic character, and has for many years been working in proof reading and of course she drives trucks as there is no tomorrow.

Gunni is ice cool guy. He is an experienced mountain man and lives in the mountains in the summer time, almost like the outlaws in the Viking age. Gunni knows the island of ice and fire in and out. Gunni has 10 years experience of guiding snowmobile tours in the highlands and is an extremely good super jeep driver. The only thing that he is a afraid of is dwarfs and elves.

CEO of Extreme Iceland is Kári. He is born in Reykjavik 1988 and has been living his whole life in the city. He has a special talent of making things work out. He likes staying in the office and planning dream trips for our customers. But he goes on trips when he wants to go out to weather himself, like we say here in Iceland and he really loves the fun of taking groups to the wilderness.

Petur us is one of Iceland‘s most experienced mountain men, he has hiked on almost every mountain peak in Iceland and he has been overseas where no foreign mountain can stand in his way. He has been driving and hiking in the mountains for many years in all situations. Petur is a member of the search and rescue unit in Iceland, he has been training people in the rescue units for about 30 years. He is one of the best ice climbing and rock climbing guys in the country and teaches ice climbing and is damn good at it.

Raggi is from the country side, he lives on a farm close to Reykjavík. He has traveled around the island and in the highland for many years on all kinds of cars. He has been a driver-guide for many years and knows everything you need to know about our little island. He loves spending time in the garage, fixing cars and equipment . He is our little elf savior that we can rely on.

Steinar is born in 1984 in Reykjavik. Steinar manages the many websites of the company along with the booking systems. Steinar is raised in Iceland, he has been working with computers and programming for over 10 ten years, for example during his engineering studies. If you have any technical questions relating to our websites then he is the man you should talk to. He is an economist but he has also studied mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and software engineering. Steinar was in the boy scouts for long time and is a highly experienced cave guide.

Steini is a quality guy from Reykjavík, he loves traveling both at home and overseas, he has been all over Iceland and he thinks he knows the hidden people. So don´t be surprised when he starts talking about his friends in the rocks. Steini finished the Icelandic mountain guide school in 2010. He is an experienced hiker and has hiked on many of our beautiful mountains and he loves bad weather.

Ingi is a highly experienced super jeep driver who has the experience to drive anywhere in the mountains of Iceland. Snow, glaciers, mud roads, glacier rivers you name it he can do it. He has over 30 years experience in the highlands on the island of ice and fire.
