The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated not far from Reykjavik. Once there you have many recreational options such as bathing in the milky blue water, massage and spa treatments or walking in the Blue Lagoon´s spectacular surroundings.

Difficulty: beginners

Duration: 6 hours. Riding: 1h30 - 2 hours (including stops)

Departure: 10:00 and 14:00

Pickup: we will start picking up from hotels and guesthouses in Reykjavik at 08:30 and 12:30

Included in package: transfers to and from the Riding Center, horse riding as per itinerary, riding helmets, rubber boots, and rain wear or a warm outfit during the ride. English and Scandinavian speaking guidance and picnic lunch.

Please note that you cannot take any backpacks or bags with you on the ride but there are safety boxes at the Riding Center where you can store your valuables.

Description

Your ride follows smooth riding tracks through bushy hills and moss-covered lava fields. See the variation in the lava fields depending on their age and enjoy the different shapes of the lava. After a ride of 1 ½ - 2 hours we drive to the fabulous Blue Lagoon where you can choose to swim in the mineral rich water, enjoy a massage or just relax and enjoy the facilities. (Bathing fee is not included in the tour price.)

We welcome individuals, families and groups. The facilities offer people an easy way to enjoy our horses and the experience of our staff will ensure the safety of all our guests.

Departures
Daily at 10:00 and 14:00. Transfers from hotels and guesthouses to the Riding Center start at 08:30 and 12:30. 

Various transfers available to the Blue Lagoon from the Riding Centre and from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík or Keflavík airport. Please check with our front desk for the timetable.
