Jet Boat Tour in Hvita River, below Gullfoss waterfall!

Do you want to cruise up the river? Jet boating through the spectacular lava canyon in Hvita River is a safe and exhilarating activity for all ages. If you are in good shape, “could be better” shape or no shape at all, you can go jet boating! Come aboard, take a seat and hold on to the handrail in front of you. There are no physical requirements to join the trip.

Here is your chance to experience a fun adventure and discover Iceland in a different way!

Details:

Bookings must be made at least 24 hour before departure.
Location: We are located in Reykholt in the south region of Iceland on the Golden Circle route. Our base is next to road 35 in the house Bjarkarholl.
Operation: April - September. Upon request in October.
Duration: 45 minutes on the river (1 hour in total).
Age limit: Minimum age is 10 years old and/or height must be at least 1.3 m (51 inches).
Included in price: All safety equipment is included in the price. Pick up and drop off in Reykjavik.
Bring with you: A sense of fun and adventure! Warm jacket/clothing and a woolly hat (for colder days) and cameras in cases are welcome on board but at your own risk.

Safety

Safety is first priority when it come to jet boating.
Our boats follow the same maintenance procedures that are worked out by the Maritime New Zealand and the NZ jet boat association.
The boats and drivers in Iceland Riverjet are fully licensed by Siglingastofnun.
In addition, our drivers have over 20 years of river guiding experience.
We have put a lot of work into our safety procedures. Our Safe Operation Plan is approved by the Maritime Iceland (Siglingastofnun).
