Adventure Snowmobile Tours
Discover the outstanding scenery of Myrdalsjokull glacier
The Adventure Snowmobile Tour gives you the opportunity to discover the amazing landscape of Myrdalsjokull glacier while enjoying a fun time on snowmobiles. You can choose between tours lasting from 1 to 4 hours.
One hour tour: These tours are the perfect length of time and the right spending level for families, first-time riders and individuals looking for a scenic, fun ride, exploring and experiencing the wilderness and the breathtaking views over south Iceland.
Two, three and four hours tours: These tours are slightly more challenging where informative guides takes riders on a groomed trail through moderately challenging terrain and up into high mountain meadows where riders have a fantastic opportunity for photograpy surrounded by the amazing views.
Departures:
Available all year.
Departure time: 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 or 16:00.
The departure time during wintertime is at 11:30.
Note that tours are sometimes canceled because of bad weather on the glacier.
Prices:
One hour tour: 18.900 ISK per person.
Two hours tour: 35.800 ISK per person. Minimum 4 participants.
Three hours tour: 52.700 ISK per person. Minimum 4 participants.
Four hours tour: 69.600 ISK per person. Minimum 4 participants.
Extra cost: for 1 person per snowmobile, 8.000 ISK per hour.
Details:
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing.
Required: A valid driving license is required. No prior knowledge of the sport required.
Included: English speaking guide, snowmobile, insulated cover-all, helmet, snowmobile Balaclava face mask.
Pick up:
You drive directly to us, at the roots of Myrdalsjokull glacier and we pick you up there on our super jeep and transfer you to where the tour starts from.
