There are also swimming pools all over Iceland where you can freshen up every day. The swimming pools have warm geothermal water and they are open all year round.

It is increasingly popular to travel trough the Icelandic nature in the comfort of a luxurious caravan. It gives tourists the opportunity to experience Iceland freely without involving too much planning. Even though Iceland has a small population, the island itself is a third bigger than Scotland. Caravan travel in Iceland is the ideal way to get around, because along the way there are so many well hidden natural gems that just demand a stop off.

4x4 Campers

If you want to experience the beautiful, vast highlands in the center of Iceland we offer a different solution: four wheel drive jeeps which can access even remote areas in Central Iceland. When traveling in the Icelandic highlands we strongly recommend well equipped four by four vehicles that can easily cross rivers and handle the rough roads of the highlands. Our 4x4 campers meet all the requirements when traveling through the Icelandic highlands.

MC2 Freedom Mini Camper

Small camper, perfect for two persons. The motto is: Keep it simple. The large bed and economic vehicle make it finally possible to travel through our wonderful island without spending to much cash.

The vehicles offer 2 large drawers for your gear. But as always, you can leave your large bags at our rental station. 

On top of the drawers you will find a 210×140 cm bed. Wow that’s really large! The vehicles heating system will keep you warm in cold nights.

MH2 Euro Cruiser American Dodge Van

The all American Dodge Van has been very popular since 2003. It is fun to drive because of its large V8 and captain chairs. The automatic transmission with cruise control lets you glide similar to a magic carpet. Although these vehicles are model 1996 til 2002 they are still in a good state.

A wonderful option for customers that want to see Iceland and do not need the high standard similar to the Fiat Ducato. There is no shower and only a portapotti (portable toilet) but a good fridge, a heating system with a thermostat, a 2‐way gas stove such as a nice cassette player with radio. There are however swimming pools all over Iceland, where you can shower and relax in the hot tubs. Most of our customers choose it because of the price as well as its strong engine and comfort driving it. These vehicles are built tough.

MH4 Fiat Ducato Motorhome

The Fiat Ducatos meets the highest standards in the European motor home industry. These vehicles are exceptionally well equipped. A warm water boiler, heating system, stand alone shower, radio‐cd player, mosquito nets, security nets for upper beds etc. The fuel consumption is between 9‐14 liters per 100km.

MH5 Fiat Ducato Motorhome

Perfect for up to 5 adults. The vehicle has a shower and many other features. The Fiat Ducatos meets the highest standards in the European motor home industry. MH7 Fiat Ducato Motorhome

This huge vehicle is perfect for up to 7 adults. The Fiat Ducatos meet the highest standards in the European motor home industry. These vehicles are exceptionally well equipped. A warm water boiler, heating system, stand alone shower, radio‐cd player, mosquito nets, security nets for upper beds etc.

The fuel consumption is between 9‐14 liters per 100km.

4CN 4x4 Camper

All the jack up roof campers in 2008 and 2009 have been upgraded. The newly hard side camper has grown to be the most popular vehicle in our fleet. No more jacking up the roof, loosing screws or unbuckle. The hard side camper stands alone and is fully equipped. A 2 way gas stove, heating system, large queen size bed and a table that modifies to a third bed. Although the producer sells it for 4 persons we call it a 3 berth model. But we have had a total of 6 PAX renting this type. The seating capacity is 6 and the Ford or Dodge can easily handle it. You can also have a tent with you if you are worried about sleeping space.

A 4×4 camper is a perfect vehicle for people who want to be able to go into the highlands but due to its weight it should be driven carefully. The vehicle is very nice but should not been mistaken for a Fiat Ducato. The 4×4 is more something for rough, highland experienced drivers or first timers with a sense for it.

4CL 4×4 Camper Luxury

What is the difference between a luxury camper and the “normal one”? The Luxury camper is much larger and based on the Dodge Ram 2500 Cummings Diesel. The engine consumes less or similar to the normal 4×4 camper but is much stronger. The same engine is used in 25 ton Komatsu loaders. The vehicle itself is leather equipped and has many gadgets. The camper is much larger as well. It is built for 4 adults but the lower bed is only ca. 180 cm. Inside the camper you will find a toilet and a warm water boiler. The boiler can be connected to 220V if warm water is needed.

The vehicle is very heavy so it should be driven even slower than the normal 4×4 camper. Therefore the luxury camper is not only suitable for the highland but combines the high standard of a Fiat Ducato and the roughness of a 4×4 vehicle.
