Café Duus opened on the 26th of November 1998. It started as a small cafe with seating for 45 people, offered was grill food and other snacks. The house is located next to the old Duus houses next to the smallboat harbor in Keflavik, with wonderful views over the harbor. The rock and the harbor below, the sea and mountains can be seen in the distance if the weather is good. When it is dark the rock that lies next to the harbour is lidt during the evenings. The year 2000 we added a 65 seats side room with good window view over the harbour and the rock, the room has veen very popular with our customers. In January 2008, we opened a new hall that accommodates 130 people and meeting rooms on the upper floor with seating for 40 people, the whole place can now receive 270 persons. The house offers have up to three different rooms in the house at the same time. Around the house is a big terrace where guests can eat on good weather days. Café Duus opens at 10:00 seven days a week. Lunch is from. 11:30 to 14:00 Where we offer fish dishes, grill dishes and we are now well known for our great salads and our creamy soups that people can get in a bread or in a traditional bowl. The standard menu is between kl. 14:00 to 18:00 with burgers, sandwiches, pasta and children's dishes. Coffee, breads and cakes are available all day. A La Carte menu is from 18:00 to 22:00.
