Munnharpan is a brasserie offering a good selection of hot and cold dishes some inspired by the nordic kitchen. Munnharpan is a new venture by the owners of renowned Danish “smörrebröd” restaurant Jómfrúin on downtown Lækjargata and will continue a tradition of Danish and Nordic culture in both food and drink. Not only the food in Munnharpan has a Nordic flavour but also the surroundings: the furniture, table settings and wine lists also reflects our Nordic passion and it is our belief that this perfectly harmonises with Harpa's design. You can book a table at Munnharpan at any time of day but we also specialize in offering special “interval” menus such as smörrebröd and "smushi" platters with drinks which guests can order before attending their performance to enjoy during the interval. Due to our location on Harpa's ground floor near the main entrance we expect a great deal of visitors who also want to just stop by for a coffee and a quick snack. We offer a tasty selection of pastries and sandwiches throughout the day. With our beautiful view across the city centre, the outside terrace of Munnharpan is of great appeal during sunny summer days.
