We offer you different possibilities to explore the area of Geysir, Langjokull, Gullfoss and Laxargljufur aboard a helicopter for an amazing trip.

Gullfoss and Geysir

Geysir is a geothermal field located on the valley of Haukadalur. There you will get to see the wonderful hot springs and geysers, such as Strokkur which spouts every few minutes to a height of 20 m.

The spectacular Gullfoss waterfall ("Golden Falls") is Europe's largest waterfall. Gullfoss is in the river Hvita which originates from Hvitarvatn on the South-East side of Langjokull. We will takeoff from Geysir and fly up the Tungu River and past the Haukadalur tree farm. From there, we will go over to Gullfoss waterfall and down the Hvita river canyon before arriving at Geysir hot springs.

Langjokull

You will discover the amazing scenery offered by the Langjokull glacier where we will land if weather conditions permit it. Langjokull is the second largest glacier of Iceland, with 953 km².

We depart Geysir and take aim at Hagavatn Lake under Langjokull glacier. From there we soar over the glacier and enjoy its splendor. Jarlhettur formation awaits us at the next location, then on to Gullfoss waterfall with a return to Geysir, where the hot springs will possibly clear us for landing by sending a column of water towards us.
