Ride around the Icelandic highlands

Do you want to explore the wide plains of the Icelandic highlands with its glacier run valleys, bulging rivers, extreme summits, never-ending fields of hardened lava and drift-white ice caps?

Extreme Iceland offers your group to take a well equipped 4x4 mountain truck with an experienced driver to the highlands of Iceland. Whether we're headed to a specific destination or perhaps we're just going to ride around the beautiful Icelandic nature and take a closer look at its many marvelous gems. The size of your group doesn't matter, whether it's five or fifty, then we have vehicles of all sizes and equipped for highland conditions, with or without snow and ice.

Extreme Iceland offers both long and short trips in the company of experienced mountain guides, whether we're headed for the central highlands of Iceland and the majestic icecaps there or if we're just going for the glaciers and mountain-tops closer to Reykjavik. Some tours may be scheduled ahead of time, while others may be planned at the spur of the moment, whichever the cause may be, we take to the highlands both summer and winter, night and day.

You may want to just drive around Reykjavik, or maybe even go further, to the top of the Sneafellsjokull glacier, to the Vestfjords, to Landmannalaugar, to Thorsmork, to Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, to Thingvellir national park, to Myvatn lake, to the top of the Hekla volcano or maybe you're just looking for a ride to the Keflavik International Airport with a bit of a guidance around the geology of the Reykjanes peninsula!

Those who participate in these tours can choose how long the trip will last, where they want to go and what they want to see. We will not let sleet nor sunshine stop us in experiencing the breathtaking views of the Icelandic highlands.
