From there we drive to the highland geothermal oasis Landmannalaugar, we dip into the geothermal pool and spend the first night at central highland tourist station by Hrauneyjar dam. 
Landmannalaugar and Mt. HeklaTake a bath at Landmannalaugar and drive to Mt. HeklaMount Hekla is one of Icelands most famous volcanos. Together with the volcano Katla in Myrdalsjokull glacier and Grimsvotn area in Vatnajokull glacier, it is on of Icelands most active volcano. This linear-shaped volcano has erupted 20 times in historical times - the last one thousand years.
