We meet and greet you at Keflavik international airport in the afternoon and start the tour with a visit to the fantastic Blue Lagoon. After relaxing there we continue to your hotel, about an hour’s drive east of Reykjavik. Here we stay for one night at Hotel Eldhestar – a horse farm hotel in Hveragerði.

East of Reykjavik lies a mountain named Hengill. Hengill is made from a Palagomite tuff and its higest point is around 800 meters over sea level. Hengill is a central volcano and under it is a giant magma chamber. The Hengill area is one of the largest and powerful geothermal areas in the world.

Hveravellir is one of the most beautiful geothermal areas in the world with smoking fumarolees and beautifully shaped with sky blue, boiling water. It is a special experience to have a look around, whether it is in the summer or winter.

An unbeleivable trip to the fourth largest glacier in the world

Langjokull is the second biggest glacier of Iceland and it is about 950 square kilometers big and its highest point is in 1355 meter height. The glacier is west of Hofsjokull on the higland of Iceland. On the eastern side of the glacier is the glacial lagoon Hvitarvatn which is the beginning of Hvita.

Amazing glacier tour

The glacier Eyjafjallajokull is an active volcano with a magma chamber. The glacier itself covers an area of around 100 square kilometers. We stop at the unique Seljalandsfoss waterfall and from there we drive up to the glacier. From there we enjoy the fabulous view of almost entire southern Iceland.

A Nature Wonderworld

The landmannalaugar environment is literally a wonderland. The rich colours of the mountains surrounding the area and its outstanding contrasts appearing in the raven-black and glitteting riolit lavafields, are truly amazing. The neighbouring Hrafntinnuhraun lava-field is also very beautiful.

Adventurous tour on trucks upon Europe's largest icecap

Vatnajokull glacial ice cap is Europe's largest glacier and Earth's third largest glacier, about 8300 square kilometers in size. Hidden beneath the icecap are several volcanic systems, such as Bardarbunga, Grimsvotn, Thordarhyrna, Kverkfjoll and Oraefajokull.

We drive east from Reykjavik and set our course to the highland road Sprengisandur that lies between two of Icelands most magnificent glaciers, Hofsjokull and Vatnajokull, The night we spend in the mountain hut at Nyidalur, which is an oasis by the Sprengisandur highland road.

We drive east from Reykjavik to the famous volcanic mountain Hekla. From there we drive to the highland geothermal oasis Landmannalaugar, we dip into the geothermal pool and spend the first night at central highland tourist station by Hrauneyjar dam.

Mount Hekla is one of Icelands most famous volcanos. Together with the volcano Katla in Myrdalsjokull glacier and Grimsvotn area in Vatnajokull glacier, it is on of Icelands most active volcano. This linear-shaped volcano has erupted 20 times in historical times - the last one thousand years.
