"In 2006, we, a group of cavers from Switzerland, had the great opportunity to collaborate with Bjorn Hroarsson and his icelandic 4x4 drivers friends, for a memorable trip on and around the Vatnajökull.

The organisation was perfect and this "adventure" will remain one of the most incredible of our life regarding four wheel drive vehicles and fantastic landscapes. Thank to the ability of these men, we reached our aim : the exploration of an ice-cave in Kverkfjöll (Volga) until 800m. from the entrance with a lot of hot water (45°C), a high level of carbon dioxyde (12%) and many unstable ice blocks above our heads....
