Tour Description

Paddle your way along the North coast of the beautiful Snæfellsness Peninsula in West Iceland. This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity to glide across the peaceful ocean under the night sky, while the Northern Lights dance above you. This is an experience you don’t want to miss out on!

While we cannot guarantee the appearance of the magical auroras, we can guarantee you will still get a wonderful kayaking experience during the evening, passing by the spectacular Kirkjufell – better know as Arrowhead mountain from Game of Thrones fans!

No previous kayak experience is required! The kayaks we use are “sit-on-top” kayaks and they are a lot more stable and easier to control compared to traditional kayaks. If you have never kayaked before we will teach you the basic techniques to help you on your way! A full safety demonstration will also take place before you head onto the ocean.

To kayak solo, the age requirement is 16 years old. However we have two dual kayaks that children from 12 can ride in with an adult.

You will be provided with a undersuit, drysuit, shoes and gloves to keep you warm and you wear your own clothes underneath. A headlight will help you find your way in the darkness and lifejackets are provided for your safety.

Warm refreshments will be provided at the end of your tour!
