Your tour will start with a safety briefing from one of our certified experts: during that they will make sure that you have all the correct equipment and that you know how to use it. We will begin at Stykkishólmur village’s harbour, now a famous landmark due to its starring role in the Hollywood film ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’. From Stykkishólmur, we will travel down the coastline: with majestic basalt cliffs to one side and the open ocean to the other, all the while dodging the beautiful islands which are dotted around the stunning blue seascape. Breiðafjöður bay is famed for its exquisite wildlife offerings and you are sure to see some of the most magnificent animals in the world. From massive whales, to graceful seals and many more in between, Breiðafjöður bay, is the perfect spot for nature lovers.
