The annual Iceland Airwaves Music Festival is coming up on November 2nd - 6th. This five-day festival features a great variety of both Icelandic and international music. Iceland Airwaves has become the biggest music festival in Iceland, with people from all over the world travelling to Iceland to attend the festival.
One of the reasons why Iceland Airwaves is so unique is all the different venues where people can go and listen to music. You can attend concerts in churches, museums, bars, night clubs, record stores, Harpa Concert Hall, and many other venues. Whether you want to listen to loud music in a large venue, or listen to a more personal performance in a tiny record store, Iceland Airwaves has what you are looking for.
Another thing that makes Iceland Airwaves so great is the great atmosphere it brings to the city of Reykjavik. It is so fun to see a small city so full of life and culture. At Iceland Airwaves music really does bring people together.
Many amazing artists will be playing at Iceland Airwaves. We encourage you to check out some of the Icelandic artists such as: Björk (of course), Agent Fresco, Árstíðir, Sóley, Vök, Of Monsters and Men, and many many more.
